The promenade stretches for miles, so bring your walking shoes, bikes or wheelchairs and enjoy the wonderful healthy East Coast air. Other facilities nearby include bowling, golf, tennis and horse riding..

Close by, you can visit the market towns of Alford, Louth, Boston and Spilsby which offer the hustle and bustle of traditional street markets. The rolling hills of the Lincolnshire Wolds are just a short ride away.

Further afield you can visit the Battle Of Britain display at RAF Coningsby, enjoy the beauty of Snipedales Country Park and Nature Reserve, Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary, a day at Market Rasen races or take in a show and the illuminations at Skegness.

A day out might include a drive up the coast to the Fishing Heritage Museum at Grimsby, the spectacular Humber Bridge, Tattershall Castle, the Deep at Hull or historic Lincoln.
